Each year Congregational Holiness Church members from every district in the United States have been sending a very special touch of Christmas to thousands of children all across the CHC World Missions field, by building, wrapping and sending gifts of love to children who otherwise may not receive anything for Christmas. This year you can help make Christmas even more special than ever by organizing a "Christmas for the Children" group in your local church to build and send Christmas shoeboxes to children who need love.
2010 Christmas Shoe Boxes
* Use a standard size shoebox or plastic container.
* Print gender and age on the box.
* Place a rubber band along the width and length of box.
* Optional: Wrapping with Christmas paper.
Suggested Gifts: doll, stuffed animal, jump ropes, cars, coloring books, yo-yos, paper, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, comb, brush, hair clips, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, bibles, books and anything that would make a child happy.
* Please consider sending a cash donation with each box to cover transportation cost.
* Boxes should be at the headquarters by October 15.
